21" wheel == better handling?

I have an S coming in the next couple of weeks. The dealer ordered it with 22" wheels. Their specs are usually great. They did not opt for the air suspension. The contact patch is huge by comparison to the 19" wheels.

Apparently, some journalists got invited to review Cayenne recently outside of SF.
This particular reviewer claimed that 21" wheels improve the handling so much that he considered it as a must have option.
While I plan to get 21" wheels on the base Cayenne I am skeptical by the above claim and would like to hear your thoughts.

I did happen to spend some quality time with the 911 for tonight’s game

If I were to spurge I would get PASM as it mimics some aspects of the air suspension in terms of stiffness (which i would prefer since i like stiffer suspensions).
Otherwise I've been pleasantly surprised and finding cayenne super capable from a steel suspension perspective.

I have the 2019 base with 21"s - staggered for this model year. Excellent ride and amazing grip and fast turn in, no doubt due to the width of the tires and the low profile sidewalls. Definitely worth the money in terms of handling with no ride quality compromise imo.

Drifting
Its the shorter sidewall - less give and deflection in corners.

I have the "21" Cayenne Exclusive Design wheels in high gloss black" with tires if anyone wants a set? I want to change to the "22" 911 Turbo Design Wheels"
I have a GTS which is brand new, maybe 200 miles on it. Haven't been able to drive it in a while cause its getting a full detail and clear bra. If anyone wants to work a deal, shoot me a DM
Basically take offs from a new car and will save some money for everyone.

Advanced
The 2019 e-Hybrid we found with the other desired options had the 19" S wheels. I would have preferred larger, but if you actually want the Cayenne to do SUV things, 19s are better. I did change the OE Pirellis, which were poor in the wet and hopeless in the snow, for Michelin PS A/S 3 N-spec, which made a huge difference. I'd still like to have a larger set for summer use, but it would really just be for aesthetics.
