Default My 2019 CTT is Here!

After months and months of waiting, I finally got to pick her up this past Saturday AM. It is my 4th Cayenne and my 3rd itineration of a Cayenne Turbo. All of my Turbo's were bought new, driven to over 100K and sold for a new Pepper. With proper maintenance, I always felt these Turbo's were bulletproof.

Without further ado, here she is....

Beautiful build. Congratulations on taking delivery.

Did you consider the new PCSBs? I love the ceramics, just curious on your thoughts given this is your fourth Cayenne.

I did. I probably would of skipped the PCCB's if I had more data or just some familiarity with them.

I know someone on their original rotors at 130K miles and that has a similar, highway dominated commute as I do. He also has a lead foot so that is a total shocker for me. My previous 958 Turbo had 130K on it when I sold it and gone through 2 sets of rotors front and rear and 4 pad replacements. That cost of replacement came out to the delta it cost me to get into the PCCB's so I figured to give them a try and see what the real cost is keep them for over 100K miles. It might be worth it or it can be bite me in the butt later on in higher mileage but I guess there is only one way to find out.

The ride is excellent. I drove my dads 16' Cayenne Turbo S with 21's and mine back to back right now. WE both agreed that my Cayenne rode better even with 22's. If they have the Michelin P4S in my sizes instead of the stock Pirelli's I have...I bet the ride will be greater improved.

Congratulations! Awesome build. The red sport chrono clock is a nice touch.

How does it compare to your prior CTT.

Can't wait to pick up my Carrera White CTT. It was released for shipping so it might show up today.

That's a nice build. I should have gotten the 22s on mine. I see what you mean with the white cars.

Thank you for the kind words.

I think the obvious difference is the ride quality. I feel that the new Cayenne soaks up uneven road much better and offers a more compliant ride. The PDCC compared to my previous Cayenne seems a bit more "active". It is hard to explain but you can actually feel it really working and if you have on the PDCC menu...it shows a graphic of how much it is kicking in. For us taller guys, the rear seats seem to sit lower, giving me more head room in the rear where the previous 958 Cayenne I would have my head touching the alcantara roof liner. Overall, a beautiful evolution improving on the weak spots of the previous Cayenne thus far.

Beautiful build, then again I might be a bit biased as I got the same exterior color and rims. Enjoy your new ride.
