Delivery Dates
My SA told me yesterday that my base Cayenne is V250 status - apparently no changes allowed. He also said he received an email that the base Cayenne delivery date has moved from the end of October to the end of November. If I recall correctly the S delivery date now starts in the beginning of December and the Turbo later in December or early January. It all could change of course.

I posted these on-sale (delivery) dates a while back from an official internal Porsche email my SA shared with me. Just FYI. The Turbo date was actually moved up a month, from December 21.
Until we’ve got keys in hand, it’s all voodoo speculation anyway.
* Cayenne: 11.26.2018
* Cayenne Turbo: 11.30.2018
* Cayenne S: 12.03.2018
* Cayenne E-Hybrid: 04.05.2019

Let’s keep our fingers crossed. If it’s held at port by the EPA, I’m blaming episode 1 of Netflix's “Dirty Money.” I feel a little unclean myself handing over $150K to a company that would do this. But hey, they all cheat. VW was caught because they were so brazen about it. So here, you corrupt effers. Take our money and give us our awesome car!

Question - how does this tie into the other posts on this forum showing an 11/26 availability for the base model?
MY own car currently shows an 8/18 production date.....

Who knows? I suspect that once they are released, they will be sold since they are being sold elsewhere in the world. I think that they are trying to be conservative with dates since they don't know how long the EPA is going hold them up.

I go back and forth between ordering an S or an E-Hybrid. Timing might affect the decision. Today I was told by one dealer that release of the E-Hybrid is delayed until June. Two other dealers told me today that release is still scheduled for April. Anyone have any additional data points on this?

I believe delivery dates have changed, yet again. These frequent changes are due to the EPA and not PCNA.
Good news: Base Cayenne and Cayenne S are now end of September. Turbo is December.
Bad news: Cayenne S Hybrid is June.
Bumping the base and S to next month will actually have a very positive effect on Porsche’s 2018 total sales.

saw a new cayenne with NY dealer plates on the road Thursday in NYC heading towards the GWB. It was around 11pm and traffic was nuts as it always is so I wasnt able to get a pic. Looked to be a base cayenne.
