BTW, my wiper blade cover was tightly attached. My SA said that the first few base Cayennes they received had lost them in transport and so they check all of them now. Evidently, these covers are installed at the port and they were doing it incorrectly for a while.

After a long wait, here is my Cayenne Turbo. Although the outside looks a lot like our prior 2014 Cayenne GTS, this is a completely different vehicle. Drives tighter so far, but also much improved inside. Still working on setting up the screens and settings but very happy.
I took a chance on the interior colors without seeing samples. It is different than I imagined but I like it a lot.

Question for the guys that picked up their Cayennes. Once the Cayenne arrived at the dealer, how long does it take for you to pick it up and drive home? My dealer is saying there is alot of prep and paperwork that they need to wait for from Porsche NA. Does that sound right?

They have to receive the title which is shipped separately from the vehicle. After that it depends on the state and dealer. In MA, you need to pay for the car to get it registered and get plates so it takes a business day in most cases. The prep just depends on the service department.

I had to wait a few days for the paperwork to catch up with the car as well.

Just got my 2019 Cayenne Turbo
This was a long time coming. It showed up at my dealer On December 20, 2018 while I was on a 9,900 mile road trip in my 2015 Cayenne Turbo. I picked it up on January 4, 2019. This is my fifth Cayenne Turbo starting with the 2004. I have driven well over 400,000 miles on all sorts of roads in all sorts of weather in these SUVs. For our needs, it is the best touring vehicle you can get.
I was so familiar with my 2015 and so unprepared for the 2019 changes that I was momentarily a stranger in a strange land when I drove off in the vehicle despite a great briefing by the dealer. I have only driven a couple of over-the-Santa Cruz Mountains-to-the-ocean trips so I only have first impressions. It has a better "comfort" ride than my 2015 as verified by my wife. It tracks well and seems quite agile. (PDCC, PCCB, PTV+, Rear Axle Steering, The new dashboard, controls, and display are much improved especially with all the configuration options. I am not sure about the utility of the Night Vision Assist but I often drive at night in very rural country so I will have ample tests with deer.
The look of the new Turbo is more aggressive which I like. It has a bit of a Jaws personality.

Yep, the new front end does look aggressive, doesn't it? Congratulations!
I love to read posts from folks like you who are multiple Cayenne owners -- and in your case, multiple Turbo orders (wow!). You keep coming back for a reason. Despite the electronic glitches that seem to plague everybody to a certain degree, we've fallen hard for our first Turbo. I hope you'll feel the same about your silver beast.
Cheers!

Great build with all the goodies! I had s 2006 Turbo S that was one of my favorite cars. It’s amazing how far the cayenne has come in 12 years
