PCM 4.0 Jukebox Playlists
Does anyone know how to create and modify "playlists" on the jukebox? When I click the icon for "playlists", it gives me a whole bunch of stars (5-1 stars). When I click 5 stars, for example, it says playlist is empty. I can't find a way to create a play list. Page 175 of the owner's manual is useless in terms of guidance.
Anyone have any ideas?

I do couple of things, I either plug in an iPod or, I drag and drop MP3's into a Flash Drive and plug it in with a playlist I've made on it. Using the system in the Cayenne is just not all that easy. Using my laptop to stick a bunch of songs onto a flash drive is EZ.

I've never used playlists in the Jukebox. I've used them with good success on SD cards and a USB drive.
Might it be reading the metadata in the tracks and using that to build star playlists? As in, you annotate the files (presumably on your PC), embedding the rating metadata in each track. Then the PCM builds a playlist based on that metadata. I've not bothered to use this as I generally take a thumbs up/down approach to rating tracks.
I've yet to come across any in-vehicle infotainment system that handles applying ratings to tracks. That'd be handy.

I just checked and music I'd uploaded to the Jukebox also included some relative pathname playlists, which work just fine. I must have imported a whole folder or something. All I have on the internal jukebox is Xmas/Holiday music. The rest I've been using on SD cards as the '17 PCM supports two of them.
A lot of what I've discovered for the latest PCM has been covered on Macan forum threads, like this one:

If only because they've had the PCM4 since 2016 and had active discussions going.
