Hi all - I have a 14 GTS. I'm surprised by how loud the auxiliary fan is when I turn my car on. I have the AC set to be on when I start the car and if it is warm out I hear a very loud fan hum and it slowly fades out - it goes away immediately if I turn the AC off.

I was able to reproduce easily at the dealer and they tell me it is totally normal but I've never heard a fan this loud - enough to make people around me look at my car.

Anyone else experience this?

It's normal. It must be a German car thing, my BMW and G550 both did it. My cayenne does it too
