Default Infotainment screen went blank

Anyone have this issue? The screen was dim to the point that it was not readable while all functions like BT and radio worked.

It booted back up normally after I turned off the car and back on.

our whole screen and entertainment system randomly shuts off and reboots on occassion. Last CD the radio would randomly go to full volume on its own. Doesn't happen often enough to have it looked at though.

Mine has been flawless for years. I have it in my 2012, along with Burmester (but have no idea if any of that is connected together, or matters).

Exactly. Take it to the dealer and they can't replicate the problem.. I ended up looking like I am crazy..

Interesting as my screen had gone blank just the other day but the music kept on playing. I had shut it off and turned it on twice and the second time the display came back and it has not happened since, this was Monday.

I had to turn the whole car off and not just the infotainment power..

I had thought the screen went blank but ended up seeing the screen. It was very very dim when you look at it from a side angle.

Sounds like a back-lite failure.

PCM started to develop an intermittent buzz to go with CD and Ipod play.

Not on BT audio. Thank god for extended warranty and hope that it craps out before warranty expires..

My wife's PCM just died yesterday. Dealer said it is dead and getting approval from Porsche to install a new one.
