plus I had posted a pic of it over on g8tor20's other thread for "favorite (not obvious) features (painted lower half of mirrors)
But since you've asked...

Nice! it has that Storm Trooper look. Also like the mirror base in body color. Mine has all gloss black mirrors, I'd prefer body color at this point but I suppose it will grow on me.

Also - question from a Cayenne newbie. What are the black plastic bits directly under the headlamp washers? Just curios

In other Porsches, I rarely turn on the stereos because they simply can not compete with the symphony of the engine/gear/road noise, it is a totally involving environment. In the CTTS, I am tending to listen to the stereo because the combination of sound insulated glass and the Burmester is stunningly good!
With under 500 miles of seat time in the CTTS, I am finding quite the paradox. The sport exhaust makes a marvelous motor sound and love the stereo as well, I'm torn…
The real question is: How many of us become less involved drivers when listening to a great sound system?

Options I have that I like:
Heated seats
Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV)
Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM)
Porsche Dynamic Lighting System (PDLS)
Options I have that I don't like:
Homelink (Actually, I like it but system is finicky on my pig; works fine on Boxster)
Options I like that I don't have:
Keyless entry
Ventilated seats
Heated steering wheel.

no doubt though. Very different experiences between driving my 964Turbo & 958CTT. Both great, but both different.... in a good way.
I just wish I had more Porsche's to drive,... and figure out how many OTHER "involvements" there are!!!
I gotta add though, there's no experience quite like the stomach butterflies I get by driving the 964 Turbo. That thing scares the crap outta me everytime I get on it.

I had a 2012 Touareg TDI before my 2016 CD. While they may not be options, I like the sharper handling and how the Cayenne looks. The looks did have to grow on me a little though as I never thought much of them until I had to find a replacement for my 2012 as VW will be buying it back.
Overall, I like the dash/guages, the wheel and the seats.
Thankfully I got just what I wanted, Luxor/Black, Pano roof and the Premium package.

Your 964 has only a tad bit of the Dr. Killer oversteer tuned out, so it has to be a thrill ride!
This 958 CTTS has several personalities that I have discovered so far. The nearly luxury sedan feel of the "comfort mode", and the sharply tightened Sport and Sport Plus modes. Today I went from calmly listening to a Bach concerto in "Comfort mode" to windows down to hair on fire "Sport Plus Mode" with the push of a few buttons and the exhilarator! WOW what fun!

Ben, What are they going to do with all of the buyback Touaregs? I have a friend that wants one that has taken the depreciation hit.

More than likely they are going to be dismantled then crushed-that is the most likely rumor anyway.
The EPA has not approved nor has VW submitted a fix for the GenII 3.0L TDI's yet so it remains to be see what will happen with them.
