958 PCCBs anyone?
I'm not affiliated with this sale in any way, just noticed it trolling through ebay. I've never seen a used 958 PCCB set for sale.
Yikes!!$$

Sadly that is a stellar deal. Go price out fresh discs. That price will get you just a set of front or rear IIRC
I wouldn't trust used discs though unless you are absolutely sure of the source. They can get damaged way too easily if wheels are removed or installed carelessly. Not to mention if they don't get packed for shipping properly. Nothing better than spending that 13k just to have to pony up for a new rotor (or 4).

Yep, just out of curiosity I've priced them previously...$17,750 for the complete set from Suncoast ($21,134 actual retail MSRP).
But like you indicated, I wouldn't even consider this set at $12k (or any used set) without proper and thorough inspection of the components, particularly the all important rotors.
I just thought it was interesting to see a used 958 set come up for sale, first one I've seen.

Can't speak to the Cayennes, but I know the GT3 and Turbo 911 crowd that are serious on the track will swap them out for steal gear. Supposedly on the track you can burn through the rotors in a few events and the increased cost out weighs the performance benefits (low fade and weight).

Three Wheelin'
or, possibly swapped them to steel to trade in and then make extra on the brake sale. My friends swapped the brembos off of their G35 to their 350Z before trading the car in on a tahoe, and the dealer never even knew or cared.
