Trim add-on bits
In keeping with the sillyness of puddle lights, I also picked up some blue trim strips for the interior.
Around the window switches on the doors and around the dash gauges.

Sure, there's a degree of 'tacky' to these (and not just the 3M adhesive strips holding them on). But it's a fun bit of color to add without having to bend over for the factory painted trim options.

Yeah, I know, but upside is they're removable if I don't like it or get tired of it.
But hey, at least I stopped short of a set of colored PCM **** controls, trims for the clock, ignition switch, upper and side vents or door lock LEDs, right?
Apparently the sales figures for these vehicles are high enough in the asian markets to support quite the aftermarket bling industry.
The wife never liked the fuzzy dice I had on my old Cadillac convertible, even less when I found a pair that were illuminated. And the stick-on Hula girl.. that got an outright NO vote.

If your car isn't blue on the outside, you're going to have to do a lot of 'splainin' to justify blue trim in a tan leather interior on a non-blue car.
"Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you SHOULD do it."
People who do stuff like this on Harleys call these bits "farkles" and believe me, there are some seriously farkle-addicted Harley owners. Somehow, I figured Porsche owners over 35 years old would have outgrown the urge to farkle.

I love the installation instructions:
Thank Dog you installed them on a good day.. (but - what inspired the blue? The silver ones don't look altogether ghastly?)

We get all four seasons around here, sometimes in the same week!
The outside is Sapphire Blue. The shade on those is just about the same. Close enough in color and far enough apart to be an ok match.
