Did my exhaust tips this weekend - Pictures don't do it justice how this transforms the look of the CD!!! They're really cheap right now.. They were $230 when I started looking, now they're under $150. It's not a polished finish, but similar to the OEM satin..

Yes. There hasn't been an issue since install and they mounted to the same hole location as the factory tips.

No. Someone did that in photoshop. My original post shows the actual stance.

I guess I need to add my own follow-up. Every site I've looked at shows that the length of the pipes are different for the V6 vs. the V8 and attach in different places as shown here in the picture...

However, I have the V6 (2012), and yet mine attaches to the V8 slot. Am I missing something important, or are all these sellers just wrong?

Is that for one tip or two?

Echoing NorthShore...

Bought These off of Amazon, Wotefusi Quad Exhaust tips, in the brushed silver. Received exact same packaging as shown by NorthShore, really good customer service as well as I had to change the delivery address soon after ordering due to in-climate weather. Fast response time and of course accommodating. Link:

Install was relatively straightforward, do yourself a favor and get yourself a 3/4 female torx star pattern bit if you don't have one already. Wrestled with the damn things for almost 90 minutes before going to the hardware store. After picking up the right head, they came off easy peezy - with some help from heavy WD-40 as well.

I've always loved quad tip exhausts so for $200 this was a no brainer to me, makes the car look sportier in my opinion.

Cheers!

Just installed the Fedar tips from Amazon yesterday. I'm very happy with the fit and finish. They look OEM and for $149 it's a great deal.

Got these off eBay since the Amazon Fedar tips were gone. $220 shipped. Really nice build quality. Far heavier than stock. Minor quibbles include lack of clamp bung and the piping doesn't follow the same path as the originals. This means the tips come out angled up a bit and not straight out from the bumper and parallel to the ground. It's a minor point and not noticeable really. Sorry about the state of cleanliness of the Pepper.

Could they be flipped over and swapped side to side? That might make them come out level or perhaps even angled down a bit (preferable since water would then drain out..) No idea if they could - just tossing the idea out there.

The fittment is fairly exact. No way you could flip things around. Don’t think water collection will be a big deal.

So for my CTT I spent the coin and purchased the OEM sport tips and I love them. Absolutely no regrets.
I'm thinking of going with the OEM tips as well. Are they just the tips and are separated, or come with a pipe and split to dual exhaust?
