Default FABSPEED MOTORSPORT | 958.2 Cayenne V6 Supercup Exhaust System

Unhappy with the dull exhaust note of his stock Cayenne, a good customer of ours requested that we unlock something special from the V6. We were more than happy to do so, and crafted a rear exhaust section fitting of a Porsche.

Our Supercup Exhaust offers an exhilarating tone with no droning in the cabin, have no qualms about installing and enjoying it. We experimented with different mufflers and resonators until we found the perfect tone and level of volume.

Each system is hand made in house at Fabspeed out of US sourced .065” thick stainless steel and is finished off with polished chrome tips. We back our exhaust with our industry leading Lifetime Limited Warranty, it’ll sound good for many years to come.

We are searching for another Cayenne to outfit with our system to verify power gains on our Dynojet and possibly develop an ECU Flash as well. If you’re interested, please contact me.

You can find all details on our website, here. This system is available right now, let me know if you’d like to take your V6 to the next level!

John, I'm interested in this system, but am curious why the tips don't follow the contour of the rear fascia? If you look at the 3rd pic shot directly underneath the rear of the vehicle, the outermost tips should be shorter, not longer.

Is there any chance this could be achieved and can you do these with black tips? Also, will these pass emissions and do they throw any CELs?

Hello! I did receive your email and responded in turn. The tips were made as they are to give the vehicle a slightly more aggressive look. Waiting on word back on a custom tip option for you, and we can send out the tips to be ceramic coated in black if that is something you would like to pursue

I have this system on my 2016 base Cayenne. It really sounds terrific. Growls, cracks, burbles...flat out mean when you jump on the pedal. The only downside I've found is the resonance on the highway between 1900-2100 rpm. If it's too much, I simply grab a quick downshift on the paddle or accelerate a little.

Glad to hear you like it! Any chance you could share some video with all of us?

Hey Mike,

If you are looking for some more sound to start on your 2017 S, we do have a set of Secondary Catbypass Pipes that will kick things up a notch for you

I wonder if my 2008 CTT would sound exactly the same?

Please, please, please tell me this would fit a t1 touareg also? I've been looking for an exhaust for the wife's touareg and all I've come up with is a tectonics cat-back. I've used your stuff on my 964 and LOVE your quality so this would jump to the top of her list if it does!

V8 and Twin Turbos would not sound the same as this, but that's not to say your CTT doesn't have potential! Throw our Secondary Catbypass Pipes and Maxflo Exhaust on there and the V8 rumble comes out big time haha.

Awesome to hear you've worked with us before! Is it a V6 or a V8? We do make some T1 Touareg Exhausts. Shoot me an email at john.gaydos@fabspeed.com, we'll get something together for you

We returned from a road trip where my wife and her mother sat in the back of my Cayenne. She hates the exhaust drone. Said it gives her a headache. Part of me smiled and said, "it's perfect!" However, the drone/resonance can be overbearing. I really wish I could switch this exhaust on and off. On the highway, it is a bit tiresome if you're trying to have a conversation. Seeing as this is our long-distance traveling car, I may end up removing the exhaust. I do love the sound around town and for spirited driving, though.

Many of us at Fabspeed (including myself) had some nice seat time in the development car for this system and found it quite enjoyable. Although the term drone is quite subjective, in working here we have all have heard countless combinations of exhaust systems on various cars. Boxsters/Caymans with straight pipes...now that is drone between 2-3k rpm haha. That beings said, for this Cayenne with this Supercup system though, at cruising speeds we wouldn't necessarily call the increased sound level "drone" but an increased cabin presence of the exhaust note. Sensitivity to this will vary from person to person of course, and a shame it did not pass not only the "wife test" but the "mother-in-law test" as well! You were almost setup to fail on that one my friend haha.

For your reference, I've found that mindful modulation of throttle while cruising creates less load on the exhaust system and can significantly reduce the sound level of an exhaust note. Before pulling it off, give that a shot and see if you can find driving style at cruising speed that meets your goals
