All 4 of the tweeters we ordered have dimples/dents in them, presumably caused by the plastic bag they're packaged in being the only source of cushioning.. ugh. We're working with them to rectify the situation, but this sucks. Scuderia is working to make this right, but I don't think it's the vendor, it's the crappy packaging from Ferrari.

Just looking at this and ordering from europarts....is it just 2 or 4 I would need?

Just two (one pair). I will have two pairs for sale if interested, as due to the minimum order value of 250 EUR at Scuderia Car Parts Ltd, I had to order 3 (!) pairs of those tweeters.

I have paid 342 EUR for 3 pairs, which makes 114 EUR for each pair. I'm based in Poland (EU) but I'm willing to ship worldwide.

BTW - it seems that there is a green, electrolytic capacitor (Bennic branded) glued under the tweeter. This capacitor forms an electrical crossover with 6dB slope. Further sound quality improvement can be expected from replacing this capacitor with a quality film type of the same value.

No prob. My order is to ship anyday now (I have ordered the tweeters on the 6th of March, with the expected backorder time of 2 weeks). I will let you know when I get them.

Even with benjwheeler having committed to one pair, sounds like you would have one left (you said you had two pair for sale)? If so, i will take the last pair for sale at $111 Eur? With the feedback from the other member in this thread, are we at all concerned with damage in shipping from Scuderia Car parts? Please advise, thank you! -Dom

Also, does anyone know where to get the Bose connectors for the tweeters? Someone had posted elsewhere on this site what they thought were the corresponding VW part numbers but when i ordered them they did not match any of thefactory Bose speakers I had (they were inexpensive so I didn't mind ordering them to find out as the parts website did not have images available). Thank you!

OK, I will keep you guys posted. I just got an email from them stating 'Estimated Dispatch Date Window' to be 6 Apr 2018 - 11 Apr 2018.

I think they will also bill me extra for shipping, 'cos so far they have only charged me for the tweeters themselves.

For those who have done this Ferrari jbl tweeter swap modification replacing the bose tweeter, can you report your experience in ordering, swapping out, and whether the modification was worth it for the improvement in sound quality over stock bose tweeters? Has anyone found a US source for the part?

Scuderia is good, but slow, since they're actually UK based. Been having issues with the tweeters coming in damaged, but that's not their fault - they're getting them directly fro Ferrari in Italy.
