2014 Cayenne Rear Window Switch Removal

2014 Cayenne Rear Window Switch Removal
So my right rear window switch is loose and only makes the window go down. The button doesn't catch when you pull up. Window and motor and all are fine. Called Porsche service and said it could be anywhere from $300-$1k which is obviously ridiculous...suncoast parts has the switch for $40....So can someone advise on how to remove the window switch properly? And preferably without removing the whole door panel. Thanks

Is it the switch in the right-rear door, or the right-rear switch in the driver-side button panel?
Either way you use a plastic spatula tool to gently pry the switch assembly up from the arm rest. Once it's up a bit you use a screwdriver to press in and release the cable that plugs into the underside of it.

As to which switch assembly, it'll vary depending on what options you have installed (I think).
This is one example.

I suggest you check with a dealer to make sure of the correct part number for whichever switch assembly you're actually replacing.
I also seem to recall some posts here about fixing the switch assemblies themselves. As in, taking them apart and repairing them instead of replacing the whole assembly. Perhaps someone that's done that will chime in.
