Oddly enough, I had an Altima as well, and liked the Bose in that even LESS than the Cayenne Bose.

Somewhat. The mid isn't anything crazy, it's attached directly to the door panel.
The midbass does have a non-standard mounting pattern, but that's easily adapted. The mounting depth is a big issue and why most people end up dropping down to 6.5" midbass speakers. There just isn't much.

Not sure why, but I put music on a thumb drive. The sound is way better from the thumb drive. Not sure why.
