Default Oil burn smell inside car

So i have a problem with my 2011 Cayenne 3.0 diesel.

Sometimes when i pull up at a traffic light i get a burned oil smell in the car. Doesnt matter if the engine is warm or cold. It wont happen for days, but then suddenly it will start again at random moments.

The car has been at the Porsche dealer here in the netherlands for 3 days but they were not able to locate the problem.

Anybody have experience with this problem?

Thanks in advance for your support.

My guess is it’s just the DPF regen cycle taking place. They really stink during the regen. But go away after. I’ve not smelled it inside the car though. I’d try a diesel fuel system treatment designed specifically for DPF’s and see if it goes away for a longer stretch. Your driving habits will determine how often the regen cycle takes place.
