I couldn’t agree more. Buying one of these expensive and complex vehicles anywhere other than a Porsche Dealer and with CPO, can be asking for a lot of headaches (and expense) dealing with unforeseen issues, and can totally take all the fun out the the ‘new’ car experience which should be full of joy.
There’s a lot to be said for peace of mind (in my world anyway).

I've never heard of anyone checking a DME readout for a Cayenne as you earlier mentioned was important, so I was curious how many over-revs yours had, and how that influenced your purchase.
Also, the original poster is looking at a CTT, and you have a CTT, and since those are auto trans-only models, can you even get over revs that make any difference?
I'm trying to figure out what value there is, or why you'd want a DME over-rev readout when looking at a used Cayenne.
