So I’ve seen a few that list infotainment as an option, I’m assuming that is similar to BMW connected drive or BMW Apps, in function. This includes real time traffic, weather, online destination searches, text messages, etc...

Would the above vehicle have that? If not is it something able to be retrofitted and is it even worth retrofitting? I did see a thread of someone doing a car play retrofit on a 15 (not sure if applicable to a 14) and that is something I might be interested in.

Another question, and I know this will vary with useage and driving style but, roughly how long are you guys going between urea top offs post fix? And are you refilling it yourself? I'd heard the tank for the CD was pretty small and I saw my useage vary pretty significantly with my X5d from 12K miles to 6K if I was hard on the gas.

Did you find one yet? Where are you located? I have a 15 optioned up heavily (91k sticker) - located in Southern California.

I have not. I looked at your thread, that's a beautiful vehicle. Optioned that heavily with mileage that low you are probably going to be above my budget unfortunately. I've got to save some jingle for the airstream to tow behind it. Haha

Good grief, there is a black one with Air Suspension on Autotrader right now @ Porsche Barrington. Someone go buy it before I trade my '13 in on it. https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...archRadius=500

That thing has every option I wanted. I just got impatient and grabbed a local one with a lot more miles.

That list with the miles is old, it actually has 79500 on it right now. I drive a lot and enjoy every mile in it, however, I am moving towards a truck now so this one has to go.

I didn't even notice the other thread was that old. I saw new user and 2 posts and assumed they were close in time. While I'm sure that it helps the budget side of things, that's more miles than ideal for me.

Got it! I’ve got a deposit on it. Now to try and get picking it up to coincide with a Cubs home game for my wife.

DUDE! Heck yes! Excited for you. Post photos when you finally get it.

PS, that dealership was trying to find one for me, they seemed very nice and genuine. Had a good feeling about their service.

Thanks again for the link. I was getting so frustrated with the dealer I was working with. I waited for over 3 weeks on the one I posted the options list for only to find out it wasn't actually available and they had sourced it for someone else. Grrr.

These guys seem to be very open and honest. They just put tires and brakes on it along with routine maintenance and they have already completed the emissions recall. Now to determine if I want the CPO warranty since it will not require any additional shop work.

Picking up next Saturday! I'm also having a really positive experience so far with Porsche of Barrington and it looks like the wife is finally going to get to Wrigley Field the day before we pick up.

Well, I’m sitting in an airport ready to get this deal done. I’m hoping for a great experience but, after a good start the dealer has been a bit flaky and I’m hoping its mostly just me being neurotic.

The guy has been pretty responsive but, just doesn’t deliver what I ask for. Put the deposit in and they pulled the ad, which is fine. But now I have no reference for vehicle condition. I asked for higher res photos, never got them. I asked him to do a walk around and let me know about any cosmetic flaws, still hasn’t been done. I asked them to CPO it and give me the warranty dates, he says he’s pretty sure they did the papaerwork for it but, still no dates.

I understand this purchase is small beans in the Porsche world but, damn...

Hang in there. I don't want to generalize, but I have to, most of these dealerships get shady about something. Just show up and stay on them. Hopefully you have an extra day built in for whatever may come up. It will be worth it. These things just crush highway miles, hard to explain. I am smitten with mine, even with more than 100k miles on it. Got 27 mpg on my last tank, hand calculated, and there some very spirited runs in there, with plenty of city driving.
