Seat memory
Hi, I just bought a 2014 Cayenne S Diesel, with the V8 diesel engine. However, I can't get the seat memory to work! The little red LED doesnt light up when I push the "set" button. Am I doing something wrong here? Any thoughts?
Regards,
Johan

Seat memory lost its basic setting. It should be retaught with the tester but I've heard that it can be taught by running the seat to the end stops in every direction manually using the seat switches.

Hey
Just picked up my 2013 Cayenne S and it has what I think are the 18 way seats. There are the usual forward/backwards buttons then a round directional button plus 3 other toggle switches.
The forwards/backwards/height adjusters all work fine but the round button and the toggle switches do not do anything on either of the front seats, not do any of the memory buttons work (no lights on them)
I've tried the suggestion from this thread in a few different ways but no luck,
Thankfully the car has an extended warranty so I can get it fixed at the dealer, but it means a trip to the dealer.
Any other ideas?
Thanks

Make sure you move the seat all the way forward, then all the way back, then all the way down, then all the way up. It has to relearn the stops before it will give you all the options - hopefully this works for you.

Thanks for posting.
I tried this on my 991.1 after the battery drained for some reason. No LED / function for the seat memory and no bolster functionality. I was hoping this fix would work, but no luck. FWIW I had the issue with the window not working properly and the power steering warning also.
Both these fixes worked for me for the other issues:
Power Steering:

If anyone has any other suggestions for the seats, please let me know!
