Anybody use non-OEM Pads and Rotors (2013 diesel)

Anybody use, tried, or recommend a non-OEM set of pads and rotors? This is for a 2013 diesel.
Also, do I really have to use the dealer for oil changes, and is the Adblue easy to DIY?
