How much should I pay for 2014 Cayenne GTS Service
I have Cayenne 2014, GTS with little over 20k miles.
I wanted to find out much generally folks with similar vehicle have been paying for service. I am being quoted $2100 (for Major Service) by local dealers in Southern California and my buddy in NYC paid about $400 for his non-GTS 2014 Cayenne. Anyone?

At 65K on my 2009 GTS...change the oil/filter, balance and rotate the tires. I normally supply the OEM oil filter so excluding that the cost was $180.
Typical P dealer basic service service is $500 which includes an oil change and an extensive list of checking this and that. Any service required is additional.

@v10rick: ikr!!! That is going rate at all dealerships in Southern California for intermediate service (some call it major service). It covers oil change and "maybe" brake fluid. Everything else is visual inspection. They keep the car overnight. I am at a loss, does not make sense.
here is Porsche maintenance book states for 20/60/100/140 k service:
windshield/wiper washer: check function n nozzle settings
horn: check function
diagnosis system: read out fault memory, reset maintenance interval
check wiper blades
headlights: check adjustments
under vehicle:
chk tire condition
chk brake line for damage -visual inspection
brake hoses- visual inspection
brake hoses- visual inspection of brake pads n discs
drive shafts: vis inspection
cardan shaft: vis inspection
radiotor n intakes: vis inspection for external soiling n blockage
chk coolant level
chk drive belt
windshield wiper level
pdcc: chk fluid level
vis inspection of leaks
functions check of all internal controls like remote, seats, brakes, AC etc
I don't think I should be paying $2100 for this bunch of visual checks. Looking for general opinion

There is no major service until 40k miles (plugs, etc). This will set you back $1700 +/- at the dealer and half that at a good indy. If you are willing to pay $2100 every 20k miles for basically an oil change and some inspections, you are throwing money away.
At my indy - $150 for an oil change, $150 for a brake fluid flush, $160 for an alignment - he would do the rest of the stuff on your list for free. That dealer is in full ripoff mode with you - don't play that game.
