Default Looking for a 2016 Diesel? The "check here" thread.

If you know of where a CD is for sale, post them here.

Someone on a boating website had mentioned all the new 2016 CD's here, average price $63-64,000:

Any new info on pricing discounts? I've seen them offered for 15% off MSRP here in the West. I'm surprised that better deals aren't out there. There are also many leftover 2017 Cayenne S trucks out there which can be had for similar discounts. Considering the Cayenne S vehicles have not been sitting out on dealers lots for the past 2+ years, wouldn't an equally equipped CS be a better choice? I get that the diesel gets better fuel mileage and is great for towing, but these newer S models have similar torque values and much more HP. I assume the Cayenne would be just as good for towing?

Granted the S base price is roughly $12k more than the diesel... is this the main reason why people would chose the diesel over the S?

Not sure. I got my '15 CD with 18k miles on it for 30% off sticker, I would've been happier if it'd be cheaper (of course) but felt it was a decent deal.

I haven't driven the new '17 S, not sure how it compares to the CD. Since my CD was a '15, the price delta would be pretty significant.

All the Cayenne's should tow similarly, as long as the torque figures between them are close, although the Diesel will get the best gas mileage...

Hoffman in East Hartford has three; Red, Black and White. No affiliation other than I saw them listed this morning. Light on options, unfortunately.

The best I've been offered on an unpunched '16 is 15% off MSRP (common) plus an extra $1k off at Porsche Atlanta. If your prepared to wait until most are gone and your not too concerned about color or options better deals may be available but no crystal ***** here.

Loeber Porsche in Lincolnwood, IL (outside Chicago) has a couple - I think they're all "punched" 2015 and 2016s. Varying options and miles, high $50k-mid $60k ranges
http://www.loeberporsche.com/

Porsche Exchange in Highland Park IL (also outside Chicago) also has several. Seems most of what they've got left are their service loaner fleets. 8 year unlimited mile CPO, all priced in the low/mid 60s, all of them have Premium Plus package, seem to have on average 10k miles.

Carrara white over black/tan.
No blind spot or comfort access.

My old 2014 is listed on the site for the place I traded it in to...

Great vehicle and seems to be priced well for somebody looking....
