2011 958 Diesel Cayenne transmission kickdown issues
Hi,
I have a 958 Cayenne 2011 3.0 Diesel and lately the transmission is not kicking back gears when i put my foot down on the accelerator. It will just stay in the same gear and very slowly accelerate.
When slowing down the transmission works normally and downshifts correctly to a stop.
Also i have found the tiptronic manual shifting has stopped working on both the steering wheel and gear shifter.
I have had it on a scan tool but there are no fault codes present.
Any ideas?

If the performance is not good might be the EGR.

Unbelievably i was driving the car this morning and the exact same lights and symptoms happened as the link!! I believe this could of been the cause of the trans problems. I will check this out and see how i go.

Repair
Just an update for the repair.
Once put on the scan tool i had a number of codes for the DPF and one for the G235 exhaust temp sensor in the turbo.
The sensor tested out of spec so i replaced it.
To clear the DPF codes, i had to do a forced regen of the DPF with a scan tool.
So far everything is OK and the performance and kickdown issues with the transmission are working fine.
