We picked Porsche Auburn, aka Root Beer.
Did not want one of the 50 shades of gray.
Did want something that would hide the dirt a little bit.

RS-America, that is one of the best colours I have ever seen. I was wondering what colour it was. Was the Porsche Auburn in matt finish?
also what tires are those you have on in the photo and the rim name?

The Auburn was glossy. Tires are General AT2 Grabbers - thinking of swapping to BFG KO's and the wheels are 18 inch OEM Porsche - forget the name. For off-road want the smallest rim possible.
Yes we did get an Expell Ultimate self-healing wrap in the clear satin 'Stealth' finish. We have been doing off-road endurance road rally and Overlanding thru the forest for five years with 'Otis'. Knowing that from day one we would get pin striping we looked at the cost to re-paint vs getting a wrap. No brainer, our self-healing wrap still looks good after 76,000 miles. After five years of traveling from the Chihuahuan desert, thru forests of the Northwest on up to going north of the Arctic Circle we still get complements on how good it looks at car shows. See more of what we have done, magazine articles and video at the link below:
