new to the forum. here's a shot of my 2014 turbo s. ,bought new in sept 15 from porsche of fremont . i'm in seattle area and bought it off the internet ad and had it shipped up. red ones are few and far between it seems. has an H & R lowering module which drops it to an acceptable level (more like a GTS ). since we take it skiing also have a set of blizzaks . dan

Like the red color!
We also live in Puget Sound. Only issue with our attending Exotics @ Redmond Town Center is that our Cayenne is to tall to fit into their parking area. Fun event though.

interesting that your cayenne is too tall , considering how many suv's, big pickups ,etc. are around. however i've not been in the garage at rtc. in any case am looking forward to apr. 1st and their season opener. dan

Yep I heard about it. I used to work in RTC, my employer had offices in the low-rise buildings on the east side of RTC there.

If you would like to join in on some local Rally or Overlanding events PM me. - For most events a stock Cayenne will work well. We have had 944's and even a Saab Sonett participate with no issues.

Our Cayenne 'Otis' has been modified for road rally and Overlanding off-road. We have spoken to a PNWR friend who is with Exotics and knows Otis, he confirmed that we are to tall to enter the garage. Here is some info as to what we have done to our Cayenne:

Big trip this summer will be a week plus to run the Magruder Corridor from Elk City, ID to Darby, Mt. approximately 180 miles. From Darby, we will hit the pavement for an 85 mile run North to Lolo MT. From Lolo we will use the Lolo Motorway to travel to Kamiah, ID. for about 145 miles. Total trip ~325 miles off-road - with one 70 mile section the elevation goes from 4k over 8k and back down to 4k.
