I'm also curious how it works with the sport wheel column's 4th stock that controls the gauge cluster display. Does the stock remain and is a dummy lever? Or maybe it still works in addition to the wheel controls?

Can anyone (Yuan Li?) confirm that if I go from a "sport" wheel (no buttons other than paddles) to a "MF" wheel, all I'd need (in addition to this adapter box) is PIWIS coding to enable the buttons? Or do I need to add an extra module too?
‘multifunction enable code’ is needed input by PIWIS to steering wheel control module, coding the steering wheel from sport design to MF.step by step coding guide in the adapter website.
Sport design wheel equipped car control instrument cluster menu by stalk MF switch, after upgrade to MF wheel original stalk MF switch lose functions in few case, most of case MF key in wheel parallel works with stalk MF switch.

My Cayenne is optioned with the Sport Design steering wheel. Cool wheel but IMO not for a Cayenne - no buttons, has paddles (who cares in a Cayenne?), no heating. My "someday" plans include swapping it for a MF wheel.

Being able to swap for a 958.2 wheel, adding heat, getting the buttons back.... my gears are turning on this, that's for sure.
Original wheel no heating upgrade to heating wheel need replace clock spring, original clock spring without heater connector socket PINs like this photo.
‘heating enable code’ is needed too. Porsche only supply what you are ordered......

Lawr, you have the leather interior option don't you? Never seen a Cayenne with one of those. Looks interesting.

Default Steering wheel heating

After upgrading the new facelift wheel does Steering heat works as previous old model steering wheel?

Everything will work perfectly. It`s plug and play, take around 30 min to do it if you know what are you doing. They offer you all instructions you need.

Will the new steering have a working steering wheel heater?
