Thanks for following up on the situation. It sucks that Porsche didn't take care of you but, good that the other dealer did. I will say Porsche has been pretty good the two times I've had contact with them which has been in the last year so, maybe things are getting better there.

One year later. . . . . . . . . .
In January of 2019, problems started again. They so far have been limited to 1) cruise control shuts off while driving and stays that way until the engine is restarted, and 2) the PCM randomly reboots while driving. After many emails with PCNA they recommended replacing the PCM which happened in July 2019. I told them this had been done before and did not solve the problem, but they wanted to do it anyway. So they did. These two problems have since persisted. (I have multiple videos at this point); This fall, the warranty expired so I've been working on getting a commitment from PCNA to fix this problem should it get worse considering it has happened since the vehicle was new.
PCNA tells me they are working on a solution. Taking it back to the dealer to replicate the problem at this point is a waste my time and theirs. I really would like them to commit to fix it if it gets worse or at least try something different as a fix.
