That's definitely the quickest way to do it. It takes a good pull to release them, certainly felt like I was going to snap the marker first time, but it's nice and durable. The pair were swapped in 10 minutes total though.

Reviving this thread as I just installed my new clear side markers from Sun Coast this weekend. I opted for the "Fishing line" method as referenced in the below 6 Speed Online post, and it took all of 5 min/side. Super easy install and it provided an immediate improvement on my Meteor Gray Metallic 2012 Cayenne S

Where did you order the clear markers from? Did yours come with amber bulbs?
I see a lot of people talking about going the LED route; are you happy with the look of the orange halogen bulbs (both on and off)?

I was able to pick up the clear markers in the classifieds and then bought the chrome bulb referenced in the 6speed link. Super easy and they look great! I just didn’t want to mess with the LED options at the time.
