Evo will have first crack at it at first availability (couple weeks). I'd drop it off tonight if they were free but they are sadly booked up solid. :/
If they need someone else to test I'm willing, I have a local AWD dyno ready to test before and after and I'll sign a release allowing them to my dyno results on their website.

In my case (keeping my mid-pipes & muffler), I would think that from a flow perspective, I would not want the exhaust gases to expand within the short distance of the 3" bypass pipe,... but rather stay within a 2.5" diameter pipe all the way out the back. Just asking.

TIA for the advice,
=Steve
The stock down pipes after the pre-cats are 3" diameter, therefore the 3" secondary bypass pipes continues this size a little further before reducing to the 2.56 diameter stock Porsche exhaust. The 2.5" secondary bypass pipes are actually smaller diameter then the stock exhaust, and it's noticeable enough you don't need to measure to see the difference. I'm sure the many 2.5 secondary bypass pipes flow better than the stock catted pipes, however if I'm going to the work and expense of replacing the pipes, I want to maximize flow. HHR does an excellent job of making their 3" secondary bypass pipes fit perfect without issues. Also, later should you decide on a full HHR 3" exhaust, you won't need to replace your secondary down pipes.

Perfect. Thanks for this clarification Michigan.

somehow a previous poster led me to believe that 2ndary cat pipe was 2.5". I am very happy to hear that it is 3". I have not crawled under there to measure mine myself yet. I am sure once I get to the point (where my warranty has expired, and wife is out of town long enough), I'll measure again just to make sure,... before making the purchase. This will be a DIY for me.

Thanks again.

The best single mod you can do to CTT's is a tune! Absolutely love my GIAC tune.

I am not 100% sure this applies to the plenum for the 958 (Mine is a 957), but I believe their email suggested they stopped making the plenum for the Cayenne altogether.... BUMMER I was really hoping to get some extra HP out of that upgrade too...
That plenium has been proven to offer no gains. Search for the threads. That piece is a joke fro what I'm reading.

getting full fabspeed performance system, BMC filters, sec cat bypass, mufflers.. not sure what the gains will be but been informally informed by others that should be about 50hp~ish; on a 958 CTTS; which should bring it in close to 600hp

sounds decent on the videos, but will find out later this week..
any one with a similar system and thoughts on the exhaust note?

quite impressed.. this package def makes it 'feel' like its more free flowing, better throttle response; sounds amazing.. al the videos dont do justice to the sound..

i think the bmc airfilters add more benefit than originally thought..

Looks like a lot of guys are just dropping in BMC filters instead of doing a full Cold Air Intake, any reasons for doing 1 or the other ?

Thx
