Default Interior leak

Hi y'all. First, don't judge. I just took my new to me 2014CD to its first car wash. It leaked on the passenger side like crazy. Looks like water was coming in front floor vents. Everywhere else it seemed ok, including driver's side. Any ideas, what's happening other than p-cars don't like to be taken to automatic car washes? Please note, my CD had been through a few very heavy rains without any leaks. Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I know my answer is not helpful, but here we go: I never ever take any car through a car wash. All the soft scrub claims are B.S. All I use is a garden hose with $1.99 power nozzle ... not even a power sprayer. Car wash = sandblasting. Speaking of which, 50mph Wind+Desert=Sand Blasting

Search on here for clogged sunroof drain lines - there are a ton of threads about this. Pretty easy fix for those and the AC condensate drain line - I would bet yours are clogged and they are backing up into the passenger side.

Thank you. I should have searched before posting. Sounds like I will have to check all drains to make sure they are clog free. Starting with AC evap and passenger side wheel well drains. Looks easy enough. Now, if only I can figure out how to dry the carpet, vac is not enough. Again, thank you.

Heat, radiant style space heater should do the trick.

You have to pull up the carpet as the foam underneath holds a ton of water. Pull up carpet and put a small fan under there
