Replacement central console button
#2
The cigarette lighter might be available, but the other button isn't available on its own as far as I can tell... I bought a used front center console off eBay, and all those buttons looked like they were installed specific to the included options, and trying to take one out was nearly impossible. You might have to replace that full set of 6 buttons - like a modular component - and even then it likely won't be easy or cheap.

You can also buy the 6-button center console block from your dealer (as the button arrangement and features vary between the Cayenne versions), install is not too complicated if you plan to install yourself.

The individual buttons are not available. You can find complete spare modules from salvage vehicles on eBay. Dealer programming is not required. Mostly plug-n-play. If the car has the installed feature for the button, it works.

The buttons are all part of one panel. I had one apart and posted some pix about it here. https://rennlist.com/g/picture/8921340
I did not, however, pull apart the top section to example the button tops themselves. The plastics involved here do not lend themselves to being bent very much, they're VERY easy to break.
There are entirely separate module part numbers (for the whole assembly) based on the options you have installed. You can directly replace it with one that has the same options, no programming required. But I believe the button positions changed based on the options you have installed. I do not know if it's possible to use the 'wrong' assembly, or if the buttons trigger based on location in the panel.

Hate to bump an old thread but in case anyone was wondering, you can replace the buttons without completely removing the entire button module.
There are two tabs that the buttons clip into and they require some force to pull it out. I found the easiest way to get them out was to completely break the button in half. This allows you to just pull each half out with little to no resistance. Grab your new button and simply press it back on!

@EHP Racing : thank you so much for this! As it happens to be, a couple of days ago I noticed that the button for the *** (Auto Start Stop) developed a crack and was wondering about this ..... Now to see if they have a blank cover for the "button" where the cool/heat seats usually goes...
