958 - rear air suspension dropping equally on both side
I have searched the threads but found no answer on this one:
After being parked for a couple of hours, the rear drops equally on both sides about one cm / half an inch on my 2011 Cayenne S.
Leaving it parked longer it keeps dropping until in lowest mode. Same if I disable the air suspension (jack mode).
On ignition it self-levels and all ride modes and systems works. Also had a Porsche garage connect it and found no error codes.
Can anyone guide me to a solution or help diagnose the fault.
Thanks

Hi, welcome to the forum.
You have a leak. Without troubleshooting it - it's impossible to tell where except it's something common to the two rear suspension air-bags. There are a number of extensive discussions of air-suspension issues here, a bit of searching should turn it up, and I believe we have a DIY or two hanging around in the DIY subforum for the air-suspension.

yes, saw the episode and hope the same applies for a 2011 958 / 92a and I am in for a qucik fix. From the DYI post her in Rennlist there is a diagnose guide and couple of low relative low cost fixes mentioned. Will get back with feedback when I have more info.

Update on fix
Brought it to an independent specialist to have it checked. Conclusion was it leaking from both tops as described in a thread elsewhere here on the forum.
I had both rear suspensions changed including bladders, shocks and the “mounting points” (cannot remember what they are called). It was not possible to disassemble due to corrosion with the alu and steel sticking together. If that had been possible it would have been a relative easy and cheap fix.
Benefit is it now it runs buttery smooth... but of cause also due to a very expensive fix :-)
