Brake pedal squeaking - Help needed
Hi All,
After a brake bleeding using Motive Power Bleeder with pressure 15 PSI (there were no issues with the bleed, no air Bubbles). the next day, the brake pedal squeaking (NOT the brake pad).
I attached a video for how it sounds from inside the car and next to the master cylinder.
I used DOT 4 TYP 200 Brake Fluid SKU: ATE-706232 - The car is a 2016 Cayenne base. The brake oil level looks OK.
Does this sound normal? If not, what's your recommendation? Thanks
Also, you can watch the clip on youtube

That is a strange one. It sounds mechanical. Can you pinpoint exactly where the squeek is coming from? It has to be at a pivot point. It could be a coincidence that it happened after the flush. Because you were not pushing the pedal down to a flush. If it was my car, and the brakes are working like they did before the flush, I would try to lube the pivot point that is squeaking. If that doesn't fix it, I would probably flush again, but I would do it the old fashioned way. Pump and push fluid with the pedal.

If you used that ATE 200 it's not really for our cars. I always uses Factory fluid for the brakes as it's a low viscosity fluid, which is reqired for our cars. ATE 200 is not LV and it's probaby the cause of your squeaky pedal.
Your squeak is coming from the master cylinder binding up. So either it's the fluid or something damaged the master cylinder.

I used Ate 200 on mine, no squeaking. Flushed 2 litres last time.
Ate has a low viscosity fluid (SL.6). It would be interesting if flushing with a low viscosity fluid (SL.6 or stock) fixes this.

I flushed my 2019 Cayenne with Brembo DOT4 LV and can hear the noise sometimes as well, as though not as bad as yours. My suggestion is flush it with DOT4 LV fluid, as genuine Porsche brake fluid is DOT4 class 6 LV.
