Default Lease End Questions

Hey Everyone!

This is my first Porsche lease so pardon the questions. My Cayenne’s lease is up in 4 months and I need to get new tires. I obviously don’t want to put them on twice so I’m leaning towards putting them on close to lease end. Also do you have to match the tires to the brand that it was sold with or can you put any brand on that matches the tire specs?

Thanks for any feedback & happy holidays!

I think you have to read your lease agreement - at a minimum, I suspect they must be the same size and meet the Porsche N0 standard.

Why would you have to put new tires on twice? It won’t need brand new tires to turn in - in fact, I’d wait and then try to buy some used tires that have whatever tread is required at turn-in. I bet you could find a set on here and save some $$$

when I lease, I buy aftermarket wheels and tires and then store the OEM until turn in time. If I'm going to have to buy new tires anyway, I should probably enjoy them.

Can you buy a set of take offs? If so, that's a fraction of the cost. Most take offs are good brands. I looked at putting 19 inch wheels on my CD. I called the place here that sells take offs, and they quoted me Pirelli Scorpions with 75% trad life for $50 a tire (mounted but not balanced).
