Default SOUL | 958 / 958.2 Cayenne Secondary Cat Bypass Pipes

We're happy to announce availability of our Secondary Cat Bypass Pipes for S through Turbo models, hand made in house here at SOUL!

DETAILS:
  • Fit all Porsche 958 / 958.2 Cayennes (2011+). There is a difference in the one end of the pipes between S / GTS and Turbo in diameter.
  • Weighs 9 lbs / 4 kg less than factory exhaust components (17 lbs vs 8 lbs)
  • Designed and built in-house at our Willow Grove, PA facility. Each set is assembled out of 2.5″ OD, thick-wall .065″ T304L stainless steel and rigorously quality checked in-house. Would these work on a 2014 Cayenne Turbo and do you have a sound clip or example of a Cayenne Turbo with these bypass pipes in them? I realize the GTS is somewhat different from our vehicle....

They would. There is a difference in the outlet dimensions between S / GTS and Turbo - we manufacturer them based on the trim level. We've been trying to get a Turbo in for media but haven't had luck yet. I'm sending you a message now to discuss!

Thank you for asking. We are still looking for a Turbo model to film with. If anyone can get us footage, we'd be happy to work out a great deal incentive!

Not that big of a price difference from the tried and proven Fabspeed. Confused what this conpany’s angle is. You’re entering a market with a very strong leader and to challenge the at such a similar price point it confuses me how they see them winning at this. Is the material, performance/gains or some other benefit strong that I’m missing?

The 1901 Curved Dash Oldsmobile was the first mass produced vehicle in the US. Should Henry Ford have bothered if someone else was already doing it? Hanksville Hot Rods, Milltek, Billy Boat, FVD, and Velocity AP are also producing secondary cat bypass pipes for the Cayenne - they deserve some credit as well. Competition is good for everyone. It drives companies to build better products and mind pricing. Potential buyers have more options to choose from when it comes to what they value - be it customer service, pricing, or what have you.

A local friend and customer asked us to produce a set for his car because he believes in our customer service, and we’re working towards offering more solutions for Porsche and beyond. Our mission is to deliver outstanding customer service and we believed we could build a better product at a better price.

Why SOUL? The OEM pipes were first scanned with a ROMER arm, and a bend profile was developed to produce smooth, large radius bends from this .065” thick US sourced T304L stainless steel – bent in a ISO 9001:2015 certified facility. When we weld our water jet cut flanges on, we back purge the welds to ensure proper penetration and overall product longevity – pictured below is Evan TIG welding on the final mounting flanges and you can see the back-purging setup.

If anyone ever has questions about SOUL please call and talk to our Performance Specialist, John Gaydos, who loves to go above and beyond to make a happy and informed customer - and friend.

-Mike

I am unaware of quality and figment issues from Fabspeed. Not suggesting you’re suggesting you’re superior over them because of your tech but it’s Good to hear you employ modern development practices. For me, it’s not enough to consider for my turbo.

Well, you're always welcome to give us a call. Speak to John Gaydos about our company, our products, and about all things Porsche. He might make you reconsider.
