Default Anyone in LA want to test drive a Turbo for me?

Hey all - NYC-based but looking at a 2013 Cayenne Turbo for sale in Anaheim. - https://losangeles.craigslist.org/ws...748327556.html

It looks clean but at 76k miles, I'm a bit hesitant. If any of you live nearby and want to check it out, I'd be incredibly grateful.

Looks great, if I was in LA I defiantly would. If you find one in Denver I’d be happy to look. The price does seem a little high IMO.

You're in luck. I'm off after tomorrow. I have to head down to Costa Mesa to have a ding pulled out of one of my cars. I own a 2011 Cayenne turbo and can tell if it's a good car or not. I'm happy to help out.

What do you think the right price is for this car assuming stellar condition?

Let’s put it this way, I have a Cayenne S with similar miles and that is MORE loaded than this Cayenne and I am having trouble selling it for $29k. I know this is a turbo so that adds a few thousand in value, but with the new cayenne out, values have plummeted. I would say $34k would be a fair price.

Good to know. Feel free to PM details on yours. I'm not married to the Turbo but this one looked like a solid example.

I would say it's in ok condition. Notice the close up rear wheel is all curbed. Need to confirm the other 3 wheels. That tells me the driver either doesn't care or can't drive properly. I agree with Kdavis61 that $34k would be a fair price.

I'll check it out tomorrow, but just went over those pics and just but he pics, I would pass.

That owner looks like they took bottle of armor all and sloshed it all over the car. got the seats but missed the headrests, etc.....

That tells me that the owner is not a detail oriented owner or seller. He's trying to dump the car without any effort on his/her part = uncared for car.

I'll still go look for ya

Yea - I saw that. Story I was told was that original owner tried to trade it in but dealer wouldn't take it/give a reasonable price with that much mileage so they referred him to the current seller - a Corvette shop. Photos did look a bit sloppy and detail job definitely needs redoing but hoping it looks better in person.

That looks like the front right wheel, if I 'm not mistaken.

So... I am active on the market for another '13-14 CTT (Mine was totaled out last Thursday). I talked to Greg for a bit & he's a very nice guy, sent me the carfax, answered all my questions, and genuinely engaged in the conversation compared to other sellers I've talked to this week. I made an offer very similar to what you all have listed as a fair purchase price here. He said he's declined higher offers already. Also, I mentioned the 2 passenger wheels being curbed pretty bad, he sent me pictures that either show the wheels in fantastic lighting, or maybe he had them fixed or touched up at his shop (or even photoshop?! jk).

2 worries for this car, especially considering you're purchasing from a private seller and not necessarily a dealer...
1. Someone as rich as the first owner likely was, I don't picture them haggling over a couple extra thousand on a trade-in... Let's say Newport Porsche offered 30k... You're taking $30k off the taxable amount of the new vehicle. That alone is worth a few thousand bucks extra (or maybe I'm completely wrong and laws are different here in TX?). Something is fishy.
2. The car has only been driven <250 miles since May 8th - normal miles since the beginning of ownership based on the Carfax. Last shown inspection on the Carfax shows 76,5xx miles, and he's selling at 76,800 miles some 7+ months later.

Something doesn't add up on this car, which sucks because it has decent options (sans sport design package, roof rails, towing package, etc). Ugh, I hate car hunting again.

That address is Coast Corvette. I know the place. Didn't get chance to go by the other day. Maybe this weekend.
