Exhaust upgrade 2014 turbo & COBB tune?
If you do an Akropovic exhaust upgrade do you need to remap the ECU?
What are the benifits and drawbacks to a COBB tune on the 2014 turbo?

They told me they’re working on something next year but who know. I hope it happens.
I thibk the best best option now are GIAC, EVOMS and FVD.
not sure I’d you need a tune for the Akra exhaust. I’d guess not if just doing the slip-on and possibly if doing the full system. Email EVOMS. They’re an Akra dealer

no tune is needed , ECU remaping is a must
re map is a must as per the attached file for the evolution line , no tune is necessary . the down side of a re flash with a tune it is easy discovered by the dealer even if the original file was flashed back.

There are no Cobb Accessport offerings for the Cayenne model lineup. Not sure if that’s in the works or not for some time in the future? I haven’t heard anything about it.

mostly European , in my opinion EPC have track record , after all the original founder ticket to fame was due to his work on single handed improved F1 Ferrari engines

that is why COBB and other tuners are not eager to roll out similar solution/s.

To the OP, I have the Akrapovic exhaust (just the rear - no down pipe or cat as the car came from Cali) and to my knowledge, no tune or other ECU mods were done.
It does sound nice. And a Bulgarian car guy saw it and commented that I must be a pimp!
Akrapovic Exhaust! So nice!
