Tire Pressure & Sensors
A friend of mine is thinking about getting a CD, so he asked if he could drive mine. We went for a drive, and he drove it like a 911. He was incredibly impressed. After he left, my TPMS warning came on and said my rear tires were -4. I looked in the manual, and it said 36 front and 41 in the rear. Is that what everybody is running?
I added air to bring the tires up to 36 and 41. I haven't cranked it back up yet, so I don't know if the warning is gone. Will the TPMS warning clear itself, or do I have to reset it?

I don't believe "everyone" has the same tire setup as you do. Different pressures are spec'd for different sizes and conditions. Perhaps telling us what tires you do have might get a more useful answer..
Just sayin..
The warning automatically clears - no problem there.

Thanks for the info. I do have an owner's manual. My question is does everybody run the suggested pressures , or do any of you use different settings and why.

I tend to run what works best for my tire wear (All Season Pirelli Verde Plus) and the way I drive on the commute. For me that's running the partial load settings. If I were going to do more spirited driving I'd run the full load settings but that's overkill for most daily driver applications and may lead to more tire wear in the center tread.
