Default Best place for TPMS purchase?

Ok I've read the threads on the general board but still can't figure out where the best place to purchase TPMS transmitters for each of my wheels.

Is it Ebay? Amazon? Or another vendor? Can anyone provide their favorite link?

I don't care if it's OEM or not as long as it automatically programs and fits the existing 21" turbo wheels.

Thanks!

When I needed to replace mine earlier this year I opted for tpms.com based on suggestions from users elsewhere on rennlist. They had what I needed and shipped fast. Cost me $20 to get them installed at the store I had my tires put on a year earlier. They programmed automatically within a short distance after resetting things in the MFD.

No affiliation other than a satisfied customer.

Thank you!

Do you remember which set you purchased? There are several choices so I was wondering if this would be the appropriate version for my car:

I appreciate your input!

I don't have the info in front of me at the moment but I believe those are the ones I purchased. The important thing is to make sure you get the correct frequency and they're correct for your year.

OK. I just checked what I posted over on renntech when someone had the same question and those are indeed what I used.

America's Tire keeps HUF tire pressure sensors in stock and they will usually meet or beat online prices and install them.

I'm going to need a set of TPMS for my spare 19" Design II wheels that I'm going to have some winter tires put on this fall and I'm going to get them at TPMS.com.

It was on here that I learned about the site.

A little bit cheaper from TPMS 24/7. $109 shipped vs $139 shipped.

Hmmmm, cheap-er for sure.

1 year/12,000 mile warranty.

For my winter tires/wheels, I just may have to give the cheaper ones a try.

I have the sensors in hand and found a shop willing to do the installation.

The question I now have though is whether the shop has to do any programming of these at all? I was under the impression the Cayenne would recognize them after I reset the sensors within the car's console, is that correct?

If so how is it able to distinguish which wheel is which?

Once installed, after a short drive the vehicle's system will recognize them automatically. If not, something is wrong.

Hey everyone, just for those searching some time in the future - the TPMS sensors will automatically reset themselves using pure and simple MAGIC

I'm relieved that they worked as well as they did, no more big warning sign on the dash!

On my Cayman I had the best luck with HUF TPMS. The non-HUF TPMS didn't last as long, only about a year. YMMV

I purchased a set of TPMS sensors from TPMS.com. Very good pricing... ~$144 for a set of 4 sensors and valves. They offer a 10% discount for rennlist members. I think the discount code is PCA10. If that code doesn't work, call them and they will give you the code. They are very helpful.

The sensors are Huf. I think these are the same as OEM.
