Wow, nice CPO package from Porsche USA!

When walked out to the mailbox to get my mail today, there was a rather substantial rectangular box from Porsche USA. It was a well packed CPO welcome package.

The outer package/box is grey and then the inner box is black with the Porsche logo. Inside is a congratulatory letter on the purchase from Porsche USA Pres/CEO, a CPO certificate that’s kind of like a smaller window sticker listing all the options, codes, etc. certifying it as CPO signed by the Porsche USA CEO (printed on really nice heavy stock), 2 soft cover booklets about the CPO program, etc., a hardback book on Porsche past through present, a CPO ID card for my vehicle with my name, dealer’s name, etc. (like a plastic credit card), and a really nice carbon fiber Porsche pen.

My salesman told me I’d eventually receive a CPO packet from Porsche in addition to the docs I got the day I bought the vehicle, but I didn’t expect this. A really nice pleasant surprise!

Is this new? Anyone know? I didn’t get this with my ‘08 CPO CTT, I got a CPO folder from the dealer and there was a small CPO decal on the driver’s side door jamb, but that was it.

This thing’s cool, nice touch Porsche! (I didn’t include pics because my name, VIN, and other personal info is plastered all over a lot of the contents)

I got one as well. It's impressive. Got one when wife got her Panamera, but the pen was not nearly as nice.

Any photos you can share? Just out of curiosity. Picking up a CPO in a few months myself :D

I’ll see what I can do in the coming days.

How long did it take from purchase to package?

I bought my CPO CD in December and haven't received anything like that.

Almost exactly one month.

Bought ours at the end of January and all we get is hassled, problems right from the get go and no help from the dealer or Porsche USA. Cant wait to get rid of this. We have had better treatment from north American vehicles. No such thing ever sent to us.

Yes, bought my 2015 CS CPO exactly 1 month ago. Just received the welcome package. Very nice touch indeed.

Received the same thing. Nice welcome package.

Just wish I didn't need to use the CPO as much as I have.

I can certainly understand that, but look at it this way, at least you have it when you've needed it! Think of the person that has a no-warranty non-CPO from say a Mom & Pop dealer and starts having trouble....the type of stuff nightmares are made of

Totally agree CarGuyNVA. This forum convinced me not to buy anywhere except from a dealer with a CPO.

The question is what to do next July when the CPO ends.

(Then I think about all the P!Gs sold over the years and that we normally hear about the ones with issues and not the ones still going strong with minimal issues.)

Cool! Can't wait for mine!

I thought a lot about this too, and that issue partially factored in to my recent decision to trade my '11 CTT on the low miles '17 CPO Macan GTS. I won't own one of these vehicles without a warranty....not that they're terrible vehicles, but just for the peace of mind. During the time I owned my '11 CTT, the warranty saved me a bunch. And it doesn't take much!

I look forward to getting mine- just became new Porsche owner with ‘17 CS on a nice CPO deal in Michigan. Now I just need to get it transported to home in Texas!

Funny, never got mine from PCNA. Maybe they don’t do it to non titled cars? I wonder?
