RS Spyder Wheels : ‘17 GTS
I’m searching for a set of RS Spyder Wheels for my ‘17 GTS but could use some help...are there two types/sizes of RS Spyder Wheels for the Cayenne?
Also, I’d welcome any leads/info on available wheels.
Thanks much,
Rick

Just one size for the 958 Cayenne Spyder wheels....20". There are a few different finishes/colors though....silver, grey, matte black....maybe others too, but those are the OEM finishes I've seen for this wheel.

They exist in silver, platinum (smoked gray) and black. The black, iirc, are only available as the standard rim selection on the GTS.
Curiously, Tequipment lists different part numbers for air vs steel suspension, when looking at the 9" winter set (silver). 9 J x 20 RO 57 with 275/45 R 20.
Part number: 958 044 601 32, for vehicles with air suspension.
Part number: 958 044 601 42, for vehicles with steel suspension.
Not sure why there's a differentiation.
The Summer set in silver lists 9 J x 20 RO 57 with 275/45 R 20 tires.
Part number: 958 044 602 72
Oddly, In just the platinum for summer they're 9.5 J x 20 RO 47 with 275/45 R 20 tires?
Part number: 958 044 602 86
On my '17 GTS I have black Spyders 20" 275/45 (Eagle LS2) for summer and platinum Sport Classics 8.5x19 265/50 (Pirelli Scorpion) for winter. Both are factory sets. What I don't know is the width of the black Spyders. I'm laid up from ankle surgery so I can't readily get to the tires to be sure.
So, yeah, I'm kinda confused there too.
I very much like the black on the Spyders as it hides a LOT of brake dust. The platinum on the Sport Classics doesn't hide as much, but they're a LOT easier to clean. Spyders in silver would be the more work, but perhaps less than the SportEdition style!

This helps...now my search for wheels (& potentially tires) can progress. I’d appreciate any leads the forum members can offer

I like the RS style, but agree they're not the easiest wheel to clean.
Although they are rare, I was lucky and found a take-off set from a 958 two years ago.
While there may be Panamera wheels that will fit on the 958, I think they are rated for less load than the 958 wheels.
Good luck in your search.
