2016 Cayenne Base transmission shudder at low speed
When my 2016 Base Cayenne is fully warmed up I notice a shudder when slowly accelerating from a stop to approx 30mph. It feels like I'm going over a rumble strip or that my tires are flat spotted. The engine is smooth are there are no weird RPM fluctuations. Note this only happens after the car is really warmed up. My guess is something is slipping somewhere in either the transmission or rear differential?
Anyone have any thoughts? I want to bring it into my local dealer in the new year and I'd like to give them a starting point for diagnosis.
Thanks!

Good evening,
Yes, TONS of thoughts on that one. It’s your vehicle’s failing transfer case. Classic symptoms.
Lots of info here... https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...sfer-case.html

Your dealer has no doubt done a ton of them. The service advisor diagnosed mine based on my description (same as yours). They didn't even have to look at the thing. They may not have a transfer case in stock but they'll tell you it's okay to keep driving your Cayenne. Once the TC arrives it can be done in an afternoon. Assuming you still have warranty, it's pretty painless.
