991 Cab won't carry my "stuff" and tired of driving my truck....
There have been too many times when I really needed more room for "stuff" or people than my Cab S would handle. I have a truck for when that occurs but it just isn't near as much fun to drive. So, I did what any Porsche nut would do -- I bought a (used) 2017 Cayenne S to replace the truck.
Yeah, I know you may think there is another person that put $17,500 in the Porsche's pocket --- but since it is used I figure the original purchaser did that and by not buying a new one, Porsche will still get plenty of my money in maintenance but not the $17,500 right of the bat.
I'd post a photo --- but all I have is the ad from the dealer's site. As soon as Intercity picks it up next week and get's it here I'll post a photo ....

Shame VAG was so short sighted...
And of course the pre-facelift 958 are the best looking by far.
I'll give the 958.2 credit that the non-TT/GTS variants have a more aggressive look to them which I like while the 955/957/958.1 comparable models look bland. I do love the 958.1 TT/GTS front end though (which is why I had my diesel updated to it).

I believe the Macan was going to get the 3.0 tdi as the base engine until dieselgate forced Porsche to use the VW four banger. Who knows, Macan sales might even have been higher.

But I do have a small utility trailer and the Cayenne has a hitch so I'll just have to make things work. Or course the other option is just to drive fast and make two trips to get everything to wherever I am going
