Default New Owner of a 2006 Cayenne Turbo S

Purchased last night, I'll post pics once it's washed.

It is missing the spare tire. Can anyone tell me if the Turbo non-S tire will fit? Thanks in advance.

My 06 CTTS came from the factory with a Bose subwoofer and a can of Porsche tire sealant in the compact spare tire holder instead of a spare.

If you do find a compact spare, it will have to be at least 19" wheel size to fit over the front calipers so its very likely that a standard Turbo spare will not fit.

My 06 CTTS also had the subwoofer and no spare. There is a spare that can be used. I have the part number somewhere but cannot find it. I removed the subwoofer and use the space for tools etc.

Ah Ha. Found it. https://rennlist.com/forums/porsche-...subwoofer.html

The CTTS huge brakes will not allow the stock 18" spare wheel. Ideally, it would require TWO different, full-size spares....not gonna happen, and the reason why I went with CTT instead...

This will fit in the spares location where the subwoofer is. Pretty pricey though.
Option 1G4 19" space-saver spare wheel is the one that you need. part # 955 362 050 20.

Thanks for the part number. Does it fit over the subwoofer or does the subwoofer have to go?

Subwoofer has to go IIRC.

Yep, you're covered. Just make sure your Cayenne still has a functioning air compressor hose. It's usually stored under the driver side back seat. I also carry a tire plug kit. I'm going to be traveling in some pretty remote areas later this year (some gravel roads but mostly pavement) so I will probably go ahead and get the compact spare if it fits over my subwoofer. Not losing the sub

When I took my subwoofer out I did not notice.
