If you can't afford 15k for a Cayenne Turbo (car + money to sort it out), then you can't afford a Turbo. That said, if all you want is a Porsche badge, a motor that starts, and 4 wheels that roll for as absolutely cheap as possible, this might be the car for you.

That was a quote from the Craigslist ad not my self.
Ill assume you think this would not be a good value with the issues and mileage at 181k?

No, I don't.
Honestly, the fact you're even considering a Turbo like that, and it's not obvious what value it has, I'm not sure a Cayenne is a good fit for you. Lots of other great german vehicles out there that can be had in the single-digit price range.

The first part above is probably the most definitive comment about 955 budgeting out there.
This is the second "ultra-cheap" 955 you've asked about. The first one didn't look all that bad, but you were asking about a 10% knockoff on price, when it was already "priced to move." You also asked about the cost of oil changes.
So you need to answer a few questions (I don't need answers, but you should have a handle on what 955 ownership entails. Answer them for yourself):
What do you want a Cayenne for? As in what do you plan on using it for? As a daily driver/only vehicle? 2nd car for hauling the family around? Weekends for towing toys (boat/jetski/ATV)?
Why a Porsche? Do you already own another one? If you're looking to "attract the ladies", fuggedaboutit. The only two demographics that it consistently impresses are 12-18 year old and 50+. Both male.
What is your purchase budget? That includes purchasing the car and fixing what's wrong. WP's guess of $15k is a good place to put your feet. If you get a car for less, you'll pay more to get it in reliable, roadworthy shape.
There's a saying that the most expensive exotic that you can own will be the one that's cheapest to buy.
How much work can you do yourself? One thing that makes ownership possible for a lot of us on here (me included) is the huge knowledge base on this forum. I turn about 90% of my own wrenches. I have a friend who owns a shop who is my backup when I run into problems. There are few issues on my Cayenne (or the 928 or the 944) that I won't tackle myself, or with the help of my friend (having a fully equipped shop including a lift available if I need it is a great help).
But that only reduces the cost of ownership. I've put something like $3k into mine in the first year and a half. Some of that was expected from what I knew when I bought it, some was not. If I had had to pay an indy tech to do the work, it would be more. If I'd gone to the "Stealership" for it, it would be a lot more.
Realistic cost of ownership is ~$2k per year. If you are picking the cheapest Cayenne out there, can you realistically afford to keep it.
I don't know if a Cayenne is a good fit for you. But I have a feeling
you don't know enough about the cars to know it either.
I'm not trying to discourage you. But you have to be realistic about your wants/needs/goals in ownership and the true costs of ownership.
And any 04 with 181k on it will be a money pit. The only way I would even consider one is if it was a one owner with full records.
Although at 181k, the coolant pipes have likely been replaced. The plastic ones usually don't last past 150k.

I have determined beyond a shadow of a doubt that I will never, ever again buy a project car. I've done it 4 or 5 times and it always ends poorly. I had more money sunk into a damn Fiero-based Countach replica (yeah I know - don't ask why) than I have in the 996tt. And it was still a project when I sold it. Spent last winter nursing an '05 SL500 with suspension and roof problems back to life - I got it "cheap". Lost thousands of $$ on that one.
Miles don't scare me. Lack of maintenance does.

Thank you all. I've decided to pass on this Cayenne. I appreciate the tough love. I think I have a better chance with $6,600 v6. This car is for my wife. We get bad snow in yonkers. I wanted to get her a luxury car. SHe drives about 3-5 miles daily. Sometimes up to 20 miles round trip. She like the Cayenne look. Thank you all for your information.

Sorry about asking it here.
My 2004 Cayenne S is a little over 30,000 miles / 51,000kms with new (2015) aluminum coolant pipes and replaced (2014) spark plugs, replaced (2013) fuel pumps.
Should I sell now (as I hardly drives it) or keep it for a few more years? It has saved me numerous times in dangerous snow / ice conditions. It is my goto car in the snow.
Paint job has some micro-swirls and some dings on the 18" Turbo wheels. No dings on the body (fingers crossed!).
