It sounds a lot nicer with those 3 add-ons, you can really hear the turbos spooling and the stock diverter valve.

I also just replaced both of primary cats and pre-cat O2 sensors, the engine and tranny feel a lot smoother.
Thanks for the reference Brit6, and glad to hear you are enjoying the upgrades!

In regards to the upgrades on this car there is certainly a good bit of performance potential to be had with the products we offer for the exhaust, intake, and ECU software. That being said, with the weight of the vehicle the upgrades will most certainly not be as noticeable as on a car that weighs a thousand pounds less.

We offer Primary Sport Cats, Secondary Catbypass Pipes, a Maxflo Exhaust System, and an ECU tune for this vehicle. All of which individually have merit in improving the performance and/or sound, but together truly do transform the driving experience of the car.

Let me know if you have any questions in regards to our products and I would happy to answer them. PM, email, or call me with any inquiries

Oddly enough, I have heard many folks here stating that they hear their Turbos spool up... I have never heard it.. I see the gauge move and I feel the pull , just never heard it...

Try stabbing the gas pedal twice and you will get the two downshifts you desire. All the talk about transmission lag and turbo lag. I'd venture to guess the ones that complain about turbo lag only have N/A experiences to gauge against.

I'm fine with the turbo lag. It's not any better or worse than any other TT car of this type.

I shouldn't have to double tap the gas pedal to get it to downshift so I can maintain my speed with traffic. This isn't some bespoke tranny. The Chevy Cruise I got as a loaner from the dealer has better programing. It definitely doesn't shift as fast, but at least I'm not jockeying the gas pedal so much. Trying to keep a steady distance with the car in front of me at varying interstate speeds with heavy traffic fvcking sucks. It probably doesn't help I'm at 5K ft elevation, and the turbo lag is a bit worse than sea level. Even our POS B6 A4 had no problem changing gears as needed. Some part of me thinks this programing is on purpose for emissions and fuel efficiency reasons.

It's the only VAG/PAG car I've ever driven that has, what I would call, terrible trans programing.

They must have improved it for the 957 because I am FREAKING ECSTATIC over the trans programming in my '08 CTT. Compared to the '15 Ram Power Wagon I owned just prior to the Cayenne, I think it does a GREAT job. The six speed auto in the truck was always trying to get to 6th. We have a steep winding hill a of couple miles long that accesses our neighborhood. The Ram would shift up and down over twenty times on a casual drive up the hill. The Cayenne scores at 3 shifts on the same road. When I am going 30 it is in third, 40 in fourth, it is ready to go without a downshift most of the time. It is an auto I can live with even though I would take a manual every time if available.

On the subject of mods, I just do not bother on street cars. If you want a faster car, buy one. I bought my wife the new Golf R. I went on the web forums, ALL conversation is consumed by modding, I just do not get it...

The Fabspeed cat bypass pipes were a nice mod. However, I replaced the factory muffler with the Cargraphic muffler I still get compliments 10 years after installation. The Cargraphic muffler IMHO is the best sounding of the ones out there without much cabin resonance. My next rec would be to switch out the factory stereo/navigation system. Lots of options out there. The factory one is just blah and VERY expensive.
