Default Missing belly pan?

Lurker here, bought a 2006 CTTS last summer, and I've been slowly getting some of the details up-to-snuff. Car (truck?) is in good shape mechanically, but I'm inspired by some of the threads here, and just trying to knock off little things here and there - did hatch struts last weekend. Ordering new 12V socket caps now.

Anyway, I was watching a how to video for something else online, and mine seems to be missing the front and rear belly pan. Sorry about the bad pic. I see ECS Tuning has them for not such a bad price.
First question - should they be there?
Second question - is it worth it to get replacements?

Maybe they are willing to ship? I would replace it if it were my car.

Yes, they should be there (yours are missing).
They help protect the lower engine bay components from road debris
They help with aerodynamics.

They also help with cooling. They keep the airflow going through the engine compartment the way it's supposed to.

So, "yes" and "yes."

Thanks guys - I don't post much, but I am always inspired by the quick responses full of good info.

Km1.8t - Thanks for the link to the Craigslist ad - but with the cost of residential shipping on large items these days, I think I'll wait for a free shipping promo and buy new. But, I'd go down an get it if I were closer

Time to do one last easy oil change before the parts come in!
