Hello everyone,

I just want to introduce myself to the forum. I am picking up an 2005 CS tomorrow and looking forward to the experience. I've been on this forum many times reading and learning a lot about these Cayenne. I've been an Audi fan since 2001 and I still have my DD a 2001 2.8 V6 Avant. Looking forward to some discussions and questions.

It is showing clean in Carfax report.

Showing it's in Neutral while in Drive...shade cover for shift gate appears trashed. Manual tiptronic shifting probably won't work either until the shade cover is replaced. Fortunately it's cheap and easy to replace.
Gauge faces have been changed and it seems to have quite a bit of wear on the seats, steering wheel buttons and corner of brake pedal for only 63K miles? The front bumper being replaced would also be a big concern. I'd definitely have a PPI done.

I would do a little more research on Ultimo and have it thoroughly inspected. They do not have the best reputation.

Good luck with your new ride. I kinda wished you had showed us before you bought it. You know you can find turbos for that price all day long.

You cant trust that as this example shows, it should not have a Turbo bumper on it.


+ 1 On that, not to hard to find a Turbo with similar miles at that price, plus with a Turbo you would have less worries on cylinder scoring with your cold climate.

Well.. Ppl do appearance mods all the time. However that particular S is kind of a stripper without Bose and stock trim so it's doubtful that the original owner did that stuff since they obviously we're price conscious when spec'd. Many cayennes get turbo front clips and wheels after accident damage so just keep your eyes open.

If you find a 63K mile turbo for $16K in the Chicagoland area, it will have a SALVAGE or REBUILT title.

19psi its a CS not a turbo. Just has a turbo kit. It has no PASM, no bose, base leather/dash... etc.

I understand that. I was referring to statements such as one can easily find very low mileage turbos for that price all day long. That simply is not the case in Chicago. When a 60K mile pristine turbo shows up for around $15K, my S will most likely have a garage mate the same day.

I just hope the OP didn't get a bad first impression of the forum and realizes we're just trying to help. If he didn't pay yet, many of the things pointed out are good for bargaining on price or doing further investigation.
The bumper and left airbag replacement are worrisome.

Oh if I was looking for something like a nice specimen cayenne I would be willing to fly and drive if my local market sucks. There are turbos all day long at $15-16k in many regions.
