Cayenne 2011, 30k, maintenance
Hi, guys, need some advice pls.
I own a 2011 Cayenne, its now year 4 and 30k miles. The car was serviced at the dealer last year, using 30,000 mile annual Maintenance Service
For this year's annual maintenance, Porsche advised to do the 4th year major maintenance although I only had 30k mile on it. The cost is over $1700.
My question is that, can I just do the 30k mile annual maintenance service again for $400 and wait for reaching 40k miles to do the major one?
I googled and find the "30k annual maintenance" is actually only "full Synthetic Oil & Filter Service". Can I pay some garage 100 bucks to do it or do I have to visit the dealer?
Thank you in advance.

marioeva - the 4 year schedule includes some items which are "time" based.
Things like "bleed and replace brace fluid".
If you aren't planning on putting a lot of miles on the Cayenne, you might consider doing the full scheduled maintenance now.
If you are going to hit 40,000 miles within the next year or so, you could likely push the full maintenance till then and do the oil & filter change now.
Not sure if you have a CPO vehicle though, and that may require you do the 4 year maintenance to keep the warranty current - although it doesn't necessarily mean you have to do the scheduled maintenance at the dealer
All is IMHO though and I am sure others will weigh in with theirs.

I believe Spark Plugs may be required at 4 years they are on the 911.
Even thought they are not bad changing every four years apparently keeps them from seizing in the head and twisting off!
