Default Buying 2 year old cayenne

Team I see a deal for 2013 V6 cayenne (under 30k mileage) costing 48000. Is it. Good deal? This is a CPO which come with 6 year/100k mile warranty.

1) how is the regular maintenance? Are they too expensive?
2) what are normal "outside of warranty" expenses I will end up spending? - like parts replacement, repair cost etc
3) how good is the reliability?
4) is it a good price?

Anything I should be aware of? These are the options in the car:

1N3 - Power Steering Plus
3FE - Moonroof
3L4 - Driver Memory Package
4A3 - Heated Front Seats
7X8 - Reversing Camera with ParkAssist Front and Rear
9Q - Meteor Grey Metallic
C8K - 19" Cayenne Turbo Wheel
G1G - 8-speed Tiptronic S including Auto Start Stop Function
MA - Standard Interior in Black
PU1 - Convenience Package
Q1G - 8-way power seats
QJ4 - Exterior Package in high-gloss Black
QV4 - SiriusXM® Satellite Radio Receiver
UN1 - Online Services

Cayman S, PDK, Carrara white metallic, 20 inch 911turbo wheels, PDLS, park assist, power steering plus, sports design steering wheel, 14 way power seat with memory package, premium package, infotainment package with BOSE.

Keep in mind that thing is a stripped base model. I would suggest getting on autotrader and setting zipcode to "all" to calibrate on prices for 2011-2013. If it were me I'd just spend $30-40k on a 2009-2010 cayenne turbo.

Seems like a fair deal figuring low miles and CPO included, I just bought a 2012 CPO Cayenne with similar options they wanted $48K I paid $45K. And my car has been great I keep asking my self why I did not buy it sooner, just a joy to drive! You will have major scheduled maintenance at 40-80-120 and that costs around $800 other than that just oil every 10K

I'm sure you can find an older Turbo for a similar price and you will enjoy it much more.

While that may be true for a lot of people I much prefer the interior on my 958 over the earlier models I looked at.

Agreed. But when on a budget one must figure out the most important checkboxes. At the end of the day I'd rather have a fully optioned 957CTT than a really stripped base 958.

Well, at least in my case I went with a 2011 CS that's nicely optioned.

That's why I encouraged OP to search nationwide 2011-2013 to calibrate. I would go your route vs a stripper even if it had more miles.

Great replies. Thanks guys.

I do have a new Cayman S so for fun, I am very happy with that. I am looking for a family hauler with some fun. The reason I am sticking with 2013 is that the CPO 6 year warranty is from the date the car was first sold which will be sometime in 2013 or so. Moving back to 2011, I will lose some years of CPO warranty.

I do prefer the new 958 exterior/interior. I plan to keep the car at least until 100K so having low mileage is also a key for me so that I don' have to worry about replacing parts in the future...

I also don't want to have 2 cars which requires high maintenance. I know it is too much to ask :-)

I just bought a loaded, one owner mint 13' S with 31K miles. $55K and then another $3K (was a deal) on a quality extended warranty giving me 100K and 3 add'l years of warranty.

Keep looking and try to find an S.

Keep in mind that the CPO is not 6 years, 100k miles. It is 2 years and 50k after the original warranty. so as soon as the original warranty expires from time or mileage the CPO kicks in. So if you found a 2015 CPO with 49,000 miles you really only have a 2 year 50k warranty. It sounds weird that was made clear to me when I bought a cpo. If the warranty is important to you, make sure you understand it.

Actually CPO is 6 years from original owner's purchase if it's still under warranty and 2 years if it's already out of warranty. I just read the documents a month ago when having a problem with my 2011 CPO CTT.

$48K seems a little high to me. At least in Houston, I found CPO Cayenne's were priced about the same as non-Porsche dealer (so no CPO) Cayenne's. Used car sales are such big business right now that they're probably pricing them high hoping someone will pay it.

BTW, I got to drive a 2016 Cayenne V6 while my CTT was in the shop. I thought it drove great and felt noticeably lighter than the turbo. It didn't have the bull in a china shop feel of the turbo. The only real issue was highway speed passing power.

Seems high.

I just bought a '12 Cayenne S, loaded w/ 40K miles on it for $47K.
